This Study Abroad program is divided between understanding Information Technology in a global business and learning more about the Spanish culture. We visit IT organizations and discuss current technology trends in the global marketplace as well as visiting Spanish landmarks and learning more about the history of Spain and cultural differences between Spain and the United States.

The Royal Palace of Madrid, the largest in Europe with over 3,400 rooms, was once the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family and is now used for state ceremonies. Your guided tour begins at the plaza between the neo-Classical palace and the Almudena Cathedral, followed by visits to the palace’s ornate rooms. Highlights may include works by Velázquez and Goya, and the world’s only complete Stradivarius string quartet.
